Lagu ini dirilis pada Jumat, 9 Oktober 2020 lalu, sedangkan Music Videonya diunggah pada 16 Oktober 2020. Sampai saat ini MV yang diunggah di kanal YouTube Rendy Pandugo ini telah ditonton lebih dari 163 ribu kali.
Video tersebut berlatar militer, suasana yang dibangun adalah seorang prajurit yang merindukan istri dan anaknya. Duhh, berat banget tuh pasti rindunya. Seperti yang Rendy katakan dalam pertemuan virtual, Jumat (09/10) bahwa 'Home' tidak hanya menunjukkan rumah atau tempat tinggal, tetapi juga orang-orang tersayang.
Rendy juga mengatakan, lagu 'Home' ini pertama kali ditulis pada tahun 2018. Saat itu, ia sedang rindu berat kepada anak dan istrinya.
Lagu 'Home' ini seperti pertanda comeback-nya Rendy ke industri musik meski Rendy sendiri mengaku hanya kebetulan berbarengan. Single 'Home' ini juga merupakan salah satu lagu yang akan masuk ke dalam album terbarunya pada tahun 2021 mendatang.
